We do everything on the visual electrical inspection plus weopen up & pull out all accessible outlets to make sure they are wired correctly & grounded. We open up & remove the sub-panel and main panel cover, check all breakers and make sure it’s wired up to your states electrical code. We also check your fire alarms. We document everything, provide you a copy & review the findings with you. We stronglyencourage you to walk with us, ask questions so you can see what’s going on in your walls. We recommend this is done at the minimum once a year. It isabsolutelynecessary if you just bought a home orhave any aluminum wires in your house. It’s also recommended to be done if you have any of these following conditions: sparking outlets or switches, outlets or switches that are not working, flickering lights, breakers tripping, worn outlets, old two slot outlets, fuses, any outlets/ switches that get warm.
All of the above outlets were still working while they were burning up inside the walls. We only found them because we were working in another room on a switch that wasn’t working. That switch had a mixture of copper & aluminum wires going to it- a major firehazard if not done correctly. We then stopped & did a Full Electrical Safety Inspection. The new homeowner was told that an electrical inspection was already done before he brought the house &everything was in working order.
